Is MyPetCare a replacement for a veterinarian?
No. MyPetCare is informational and organizational. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical concerns. In an emergency, contact a veterinary emergency clinic immediately.
Can I record my vet visits?
Yes. Recording is opt-in — you start and stop it with a tap during the appointment. The audio is transcribed by Soniox and a clean AI summary highlighting diagnoses, medications, and follow-ups is saved under your pet. You can delete recordings, transcripts, or summaries at any time. Recording consent laws vary by jurisdiction and it is your responsibility to obtain any required consent — see our Terms of Use for details.
What data do you share with third parties?
We share only what is required to power specific features: AI chat context with OpenAI, audio with Soniox for transcription, and account data with Supabase for storage. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Do you sell my data?
No. Ever. We make money from subscriptions.
Can I cancel a subscription?
Yes — manage and cancel through your Apple or Google account settings at any time. You’ll keep access through the end of your current billing period.
